Next, you need to write your home page. On the home page, you should explain what your website is about. Equally important, your website needs to be organized. You don't want your website looking like you just were born under a rock and you wanted to build a website in 5 seconds and in 10 easy steps. You need to spend time on your website and think about what people like to see on websites. You should have a branch on your website that leads to another branch, that leads to another branch, and so on, sort of like a tree. The last thing you want is your website to have pages scattered all over the place.

So, for example, if your website is about dogs, then let's say you put a page about where you can buy dog food for them. The page would have a page added to it each specifically about that place and only that place. Then, you would have other pages added about the other places that you talked about on the main dog food page.

Also, your website should have a cool logo. Spend a minimum of 5 minutes creating a cool logo for your site. If your website was about dogs, you might want a logo like this:

In addition, if you want your website to look more fancy, you would probably want a cool background. For instance, you might want your website's background to be just a bunch of bones, or dogs, if your website was about dogs. If your website was about science, you might put a background of skelletons or binoculars or magnifying glasses or something.

A lot of times, people would love to see pictures. So, have pictures on your website! If your website is about dogs, then put an image page on your website with images of dogs. To be more specific, you could have different pages of images of dogs. You could have pages of images of injured dogs, dogs with diseases, regular dogs, and other dog images. To give the image page more of a sparkle, you could be even more specific! You could have pages of images of different types of dogs, like images of Miniature Jack Russels, images of Chiwawas, images of Husky dogs, and other types of dogs!

Finally, when you are finished or when you think you are ready for people to see your website, you should advertise your website on Google or somewhere on the web. On the advertisements, you would probably either want to copy and paste the first few sentences of your home page into your advertisement, or you should summarize your homepage. For example, if you wanted to advertise your website about dogs, it might look something like this:

Dogs are amazing animals. If you like dogs or if you would really like
to learn about dogs, come to my website called Dogs.com! You can
find almost everything about dogs at dogs.com! You can view images,
find places to buy food for them, find out what toys they like, and much more!
